Great food, Horrible Hospitality, Calm Quiet Environment. Needs to be more welcoming to customers, after eating we were quickly dismissed just as quickly as we were asked “what do you want today”. “Feels like a tire shop” in the words of my husband. Amazing food though, the service and the atmosphere makes it not as enjoyable and more transactional.

If I could give them zero stars I would! I stopped here because I love me a good mom and pop shop but this is ridiculous!! 1) I was asked was my food for here or Togo, I told them for here and they STILL packaged my food up! 2) my meal was supposed to come with 2 pork chops, they only gave me 1! And 3) I asked for butter for my waffles and he melted it and tried to serve it to me! Customer service skills was wack! Didn’t eat the food because of the service!

The only thing I would say is the eggs could've been cooked a little bit longer but other than that tasted good! I loved the bear pictures on the wall throughout the restaurant! The gentleman was very friendly and ran the place by himself. The only other thing I would say that could be different is on the menu it said this came with 4 tenders and my bf went and asked and he said unfortunately it only comes with 3 now and that he needed to change it on the menu. Also, don't go off of the menu on Google he only does the items on the menu in the restaurant.

We ate at Waffle Bear last week, and we were so impressed. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the pork chops and papusas, but we enjoyed everything that we tried. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience at this place. It's easy to miss, but you definitely shouldn't.

First off this is a hidden gem. We had a pleasant experience and can say the staff was genuinely happy to help. This is counter service for the most part. Since the restaurant wasn't busy they sat us and gave menus. We were given great service by Darrin and the food is absolutely amazing. The waffle was perfectly cooked and the eggs and grits were perfection. My recommendations are Cheech or Closing time. Definitely large portions and service was fast.
